These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the sale, use, and provision of IoT devices (“Devices”) by CONTROL AUTOMATION TECHNOLOGY (CAT) (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”) to the customer (“Customer”, “You”, or “Your”). By purchasing, accessing, or using our Devices, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined herein.
1. General Provisions

By purchasing or using the Devices, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
1.2 Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will be posted on our website, and the effective date will be updated accordingly.
2. Product Purchase
2.1 Orders
All orders placed for Devices are subject to acceptance by the Company. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to issues with product availability, errors in pricing, or suspected fraud.
2.2 Pricing and Payment
Prices for Devices are listed on our website or provided by our authorized representatives. All prices are exclusive of taxes, shipping fees, and any other applicable charges. Payment must be made in full before the Devices are shipped.
2.3 Shipping and Delivery
We will make reasonable efforts to ship your order promptly. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination and other factors beyond our control. Any estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.
3. Use of Devices
3.1 Proper Use
The Devices are intended for use in accordance with the instructions provided. You agree to use the Devices only for their intended purposes and not to misuse, damage, or alter the Devices.
3.2 Software and Firmware Updates
The Devices may require updates to software or firmware to function properly. These updates may be automatically installed or provided as needed. You agree to install updates promptly to ensure proper operation of the Devices.
3.3 Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of any account or device associated with the Devices. You agree to notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized access or use of your account or Devices.
3.4 Data Collection and Use
The Devices may collect, process, and transmit data, including personal health information. By using the Devices, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of such data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
4. Warranty and Returns
4.1 Limited Warranty
The Devices are covered by a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of [X] months from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, unauthorized repairs, or normal wear and tear.

You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of any software associated with the Devices.

7. Indemnity and Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company’s liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Devices.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Devices at any time for violation of these Terms and Conditions, including non-payment or misuse of the Devices.
8.2 Termination by You
You may terminate your use of the Devices at any time by discontinuing use and notifying us in writing.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Malaysia.
